Donation in Siguatepeque
The first of may, the Mayor of Siguatepeque make a donation of block of land in this town to CIMEQH, Thanks to all friendly people  of this city and timely work of Ing. Rafael Baide, President of CAPNOR and board of CIMEQH.

Post-graduates
The Assistant Secretary of State for the Foreign Secretary, in which we are informed that the Matsumae International Foundation, has sent invitation to the Embassy of Honduras in Japan, for researchers or academics Honduran (as) carrying out a post-graduate research in the period April 2010 to March 2011 in Japan..

Nacimiento de un gremio organizado: CIMEQH

La Asociación de Ingenieros Mecánicos, Electricistas y Químicos de Honduras "AIMEQH", was created at the end of the seventies, is the origin of the Colegio de Ingenieros Mecánicos, Electricistas y Químicos de Honduras y ramas afines "CIMEQH". In its short life, this association was chairing the distinguished professionals in the Electrical Engineering, and Dr. Luis Cosenza Jiménez Percy Buck Armando Mendoza, who channeled all his energy and expertise to coordinate the activity. Additionally, 38 distinguished professionals in the Electrical Engineering, Mechanics and Chemistry prompted the Statute Law and Procedure of CIMEQH before Congress and give life to the College that we have today.
This College was founded in 1980 and according to Decree No. 902 of 24 March 1980 being the founders of the same group of engineers AIMEQH, which disappears when the birth CIMEQH, of whom 16 were graduates of foreign universities and 24 of the UNAH. While in the seventies and the UNAH graduating engineers in these disciplines, the number of graduates was small at its inception, making it difficult to create a strong college, which is why some of Engineers as one of these specialties Alternatively they joined in the CICH..
However, in the eighties and nineties the number of affiliates has increased substantially in quality and quantity, making the CIMEQH one of the strongest organizations of the belligerent countries, whose members make substantial contributions in the development process technology of the nation.
